Ryou Shirogane (白金 稜, Shirogane Ryō?) or Elliot Grant is the very-rich genius teenage owner of Café Mew Mew. His father first started the Mew project, and after his death, Ryou continued the project in his absence. Before injecting the future Mew Mews, he tested the process by injecting himself with animal DNA, giving him the ability to change into a cat for ten minutes at a time. He has a pet robot named R2000, but he gives to Ichigo who renames it Masha. In Mew Mew Power, he is renamed to Elliot Grant.
